Acts of Random Kindness

Posted by georgiannasaysjustdoyou on April 10, 2010

I am helping to run an Auction tonight for North Shore Christian School (you are welcome to come…send me an email, I’ll give you the details). The theme is “Acts of Random Kindness.” Therefore, my thought for today:

We are often going through our day making decisions as we go along about what we are going to do, say or feel based on what’s in it for us. It is not always a conscious selfish motivation. It really is just natural.

Have you ever had someone do something for you out of nowhere or just say something really nice that was unexpected? How did you feel? Not just in the moment, but for the rest of the day?

For me, it is usually a reminder that I need to be more giving to others. I want others to feel the way I feel when that happens to me. I have been blessed in that it happens frequently.

So today, spread the JOY and the LOVE and do or say something kind at random…nothing in it for you except for the happiness that you spread.

I don’t have answers, but I always have thoughts.
